New Board of Directors for Egyptian Club in Al Ain until 2025

On Sunday, April 23, Arab Republic of Egypt’s Club in the city of Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, conducted elections for the 2023-2025 term to select a board of directors from among the candidates, at the club’s headquarters in the presence of all members of the General Assembly, and in the presence of Counselor Lotfi Hussein, Chairman of the Egyptian Club in Ajman, representing the UAE’s Ministry of Community Development, and Baha’a Al-Din, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The elections resulted in 7 candidates winning, and the formation of the club’s board of directors among them as follows:

  • Hossam Sayed Hosni Sharqawi was elected as the chairman of the Board of Directors, and supervisor of the cultural committee.
  • Dr. Mona Mostafa Hassanein was elected as the vice-chairman of the Board of Directors, and supervisor of the women’s committee.
  • Atef Mahmoud Al-Batal was elected as the Director of the Club, and supervisor of the Media committee.
  • Ehab Abdel Azim Mohamed Mahmoud was elected as the secretary.
  • Hassan Shehata was elected as the Treasurer, and supervisor of the medical committee in cooperation with Amira Mustafa Juma’a.
  • As well, Mohamed Medhat supervises the scientific committee, while Hani Al-Sawwaf supervises the sports committee. The Board of Directors agreed on cooperation in managing the communication committee.

The General Assembly meeting witnessed a presentation of the achievements made by the previous board of directors, and the discussion of administrative and financial matters, which were adopted in the minutes of the meeting. The board was then thanked for their efforts during the past period, followed by the voting process and counting of votes in the presence of members of the General Assembly.

Everyone pledged to work sincerely to provide the best services to the Egyptian community in the city of Al Ain in cooperation with local institutions, in accordance with the regulations and laws of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
